These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the official website of GenEduserve ("the School", "we", "us", "our") and any service, application, registration or online payment made through this website. By accessing the website or by submitting any form or payment on it, you ("the User", "you") confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

This website is intended for use by parents, legal guardians, alumni, prospective applicants, and authorised staff of the School. If you are below 18 years of age, you may use this website only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By making an online payment or submitting any form, you confirm that you have the legal authority to do so.

2. Acceptance of Terms

You agree that these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the Cancellation Policy, form the complete agreement between you and the School in relation to the use of this website.

3. Accounts & Credentials

• If the School issues you a login credential (parent, student or staff), you are responsible for maintaining its confidentiality and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Sharing of credentials with any unauthorised person is prohibited.
• You must immediately notify the School of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using this website you agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, the underlying servers or any other user's account.
• Interfere with the website's normal operation (e.g., by injecting malware, running automated scanners, scraping data).
• Upload any content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise objectionable.
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with a student.

5. Online Payments & Fees

• All fees are payable in Indian Rupees (INR).
• The fee schedule, due dates and applicable late-fee structure are determined by the School and communicated through official circulars and through the parent / student portal.
• Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. The School is not responsible for any failure, delay or error caused by the payment gateway, the issuing bank, the card network or the user's own device / connectivity.
• Payment-gateway charges, convenience fees and applicable taxes (if any) shall be borne by the payer, unless the School expressly states otherwise.
• An online receipt is generated only upon successful settlement of the transaction with the School's merchant account. A debit from your bank account, by itself, is not proof of a successful payment.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy and the Cancellation Policy.

6. Admissions & Enrolment

Submission of an online admission / registration application does not automatically confer admission. Admission is subject to availability of seats, satisfactory performance in the School's screening procedure (where applicable), submission of all required documents in original, verification by the School, and compliance with the rules of the affiliating board and applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content available on this website — including but not limited to the School's name, logo, mascot, photographs, illustrations, text, audio, video, software code, lesson plans and downloadable documents — is the property of the School or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit or create derivative works of any such content without the prior written permission of the School, except for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Third-Party Services

This website may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, SMS / email providers, Google Maps, Google Analytics, YouTube). The School is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices of such third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimers

• The website and the information presented on it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• The School does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, medical or professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the School, its employees, agents and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this website or any online service offered through it. The aggregate liability of the School under or in connection with these Terms shall in no event exceed the amount of the fee that you have paid to the School for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the School, its trustees, management, employees and agents from and against any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your misuse of the website, or (iii) your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Suspension & Termination

The School reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the website and / or to any online service, without prior notice, if it reasonably believes that you have violated these Terms, any applicable law, or the School's code of conduct.

13. Modification of Terms

The School may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website after revisions are published shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms. The version of the Terms in force on the date of your transaction shall apply to that transaction. The current version is always available on this page.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the city where the School is registered.
